In 1881 Caroline Scott was living with her three sisters & their widowed Father, a Brewers Agent, at Highton House, The Green, West Ham.
The large cross memorial in the churchyard commemorates Joseph & Caroline Scott, this Carolines parents, as well as Caroline & her sister Mary Ann.
There is also a memorial to her father, Joseph, elsewhere in the church.
