St John's Church is on Stratford Broadway, in Londons East End. It is a well-known landmark at the heart of Stratford's shops and businesses. We are a growing church and we are seeking to grow in our service of God and the local community.
Amnesty International has 2.2 million members worldwide who are passionate about our beliefs and not afraid to take unpopular stands to realise our vision and mission.
Our vision is of a world in which every person enjoys all the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights instruments. In pursuit of this vision, our mission is to undertake research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of these rights.
CSW is a Christian human rights non-governmental organisation which specialises in religious freedom, works on behalf of those persecuted for their Christian beliefs and promotes religious liberty for all.
We exist to redress the injustice faced by those who are discriminated against or persecuted on religious grounds, to champion human rights and to stand in solidarity with the oppressed. In much of our work we address broader human rights issues that affect all people regardless of their religion, working with people of all faiths or none.
Open Doors has been providing Bibles, Christian literature, training and practical support to the Persecuted Church worldwide since 1955. We are the world's largest outreach to persecuted Christians, working in the most high-risk places for Christians on earth, where the Gospel costs the most.
Right now more than 200 million Christians are at risk of persecution around the world. Open Doors is active in around 45 countries, supplying Bibles, leadership training, Scripture-based literacy programmes and support for Christians suffering for their faith. And we want to continue to encourage the Church here to play its part: that means not only responding to the needs of the Persecuted Church, but also learning from their experience of what it means to follow Jesus.
